Alpine larch in fall (#81136289)

The trail passing through Headlight Basin on the way to Ingalls Lake is covered with alpine larch trees which in early October have the needles change to a stunning golden yellow color before dropping the needles to the ground. Alpine Lakes Wilderness, Washington.
