Grays Harbor Co. Court (#23326428)

Grays Harbor County Courthouse in Montesano, Washington. Built in 1910. A magnitude 5.9 earthquake struck Montesano on July 2, 1999, causing serious damage to the courthouse. The worst problems occurred near the clock tower, which actually shifted on its foundations. The entire structure was evacuated for a time, but the county decided to restore the building to its original glory. Two years and $7.5 million dollars later, the courthouse was officially rededicated on July 28, 2001.
